Term: 1 Permanent role and 1 Maternity (fixed term) role

The Psychology Programme at St. Mary’s University is looking for a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join its team. The successful candidate would deliver on our existing undergraduate psychology programmes as well as helping to develop and deliver on our expanding offerings of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The candidate will be expected to contribute to the overall psychology content, with particular emphasis and expertise in Individual Differences and Psychometrics. An interest in contributing to our developing portfolio will be welcomed and there may be opportunities to take on programme leadership activities.
Ideally, the successful candidate is expected to have a BPS GBC accredited first degree in Psychology and a PhD in Psychology (or expected within the next 6 months). Experience of teaching and assessing in HE is essential, as is a demonstration of engagement with scholarship and research (evidenced by recent publications in peer-reviewed journals). Experience of module leadership and/or development would be welcomed, as would evidence of an ability to generate external income and a teaching qualification (and/or Fellowship of the HEA).
