Are you a Positive Behaviour Support specialist with the drive, passion and creativity to help shape the future direction of the Emotional Wellbeing Service at one of the UK’s top specialist colleges for young people with complex disabilities?

Consider joining National Star and leading our team of eleven specialists, including Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) practitioners and Creative Music and Drama therapists.

Although the experience of working with individuals with disabilities is essential, what is also important to us is your proven leadership skills and your ability to see the bigger picture about how emotional wellbeing fits into our charity’s strategic plans.

We’ve got some exciting ideas for the future development of the team and we want you to be part of the conversation. We’re also hoping that you may bring ideas of your own having previously worked within the NHS, education, supported living or a charity setting. We’re looking for someone who is not afraid to have difficult conversations and can step up and help us improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Emotional Wellbeing Service.

Although you will have your own caseload we will ensure you have time to inspire and manage your team and build strong relationships with other multi-disciplinary specialists across National Star. You’ll be offered ongoing training and support to allow you to grow and develop in the role.
