Multi Systemic Therapy (MST) Worker (Psychologist, Family Therapist, Social Worker)
An excellent development opportunity, the post holder will join an experienced team of MST (Multi-Systemic Therapy) workers based in Huntingdon but working across Cambridgeshire for Family Psychology Mutual, a staff owned social enterprise. MST is a licenced and evidence based intervention with a high quality assurance process. Workers will aim to achieve high adherence to the model in pursuit of long term sustainable outcomes. After initial MST training, you will work with adolescents with severe anti-social behaviour problems and their families at risk of family breakdown using this structured strengths based approach, which will develop and extend your clinical skills. You will hold a caseload of 4-6 families working intensively in the home. You will receive weekly clinical supervision & ongoing training in family and cognitive behavioural approaches. You will collaborate with colleagues in social care and other professional groups in the Local Authority. The MST team has four workers and a full time Supervisor with a strong team ethos for support and the sharing of knowledge. The post holder may be a qualified Clinical or Applied Psychologist, Family Therapist, Social Worker or Mental Health Professional, registered with a professional body. Alternatively you will have a Psychology degree with relevant experience of working with young people and their families with multiple problems and challenging behaviours seeking to extend your therapeutic skills. You will participate in an on call rotation for which additional payment is made. Evening and weekend work will be part of this post.

Location: Based in Huntingdon but post is County wide with travel across Cambridgeshire.
Hours: 37 Hours
