JOB TITLE: Organisational Development and Culture Practitioner

DIRECTORATE: Workforce and Education

REPORTS TO: Deputy Director for Workforce and Organisational Development

ACCOUNTABLE TO: Strategy, Workforce and Education Director

HOURS: 37.5 hours per week

LOCATION: Royal Preston Hospital

BAND: 8a

NB: The Post holder may be required to work in other departments across the Trust including across Trust sites

Role Summary

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

The focus for this role will be leading on a range of corporate wide organisational development (OD) programmes of

work as set out in Our People Plan. A significant part of the role will be to strategically leading the culture change

agenda within the organisation utilising robust organisational development (OD) methodologies and acting as a source

of expertise with regards to the actions which will support tangible improvements. As a senior member of the

Workforce and OD team this role will ensure that the interventions provided by the wider team are aligned to the

Trust strategic priorities and can demonstrate a measurable impact on behavioural change, workforce performance

metrics and help to create a positive, compassionate and empowered culture.

To deliver an impact will need to have strong communication skills, able to influence others and engage colleagues at

all levels, to create a sustained organisational focus on the OD interventions we are hoping to embed. This post will

need to be able to lead others through a matrix management, programme management approach (in longer term may

have direct line management responsibilities).
