We are seeking to recruit Clinical Psychologists for the following posts:
(1) 0.45 days - EIS 
To join the Early Intervention in Psychosis Service, based in Bournemouth and covering the county of Dorset. Locally, the Team was developed in 2004 and has established a substantial caseload of patients from the ages of 14 onwards.  We cover a mixture of urban and rural areas across Dorset county and the issues that the team address reflects the needs of the local populations. The Team has close working links with the local Community Mental Health Teams and also the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service. 
The candidate should have relevant experience in working with young people with first episode psychosis, be highly motivated and interested in promoting the recovery of young adults and be able to actively engage young people and maintain therapeutic relationships in order to meet their social, psychological and family needs.

(2) 0.6 days – Dorchester
We would like to invite applications for an experienced and enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist to join our Acute Inpatient Clinical Psychology Service working primarily at Forston Clinic in Dorchester.  
Forston Clinic is home to Waterston Ward, which is an acute assessment and treatment ward caring for both females and males. We aspire to become a centre of excellence where we provide evidenced based interventions to patients with complex physical and mental health needs who require a secure environment.
We provide treatment and care across inpatient wards for people aged 18 and over, who are in an acute phase of illness and working towards their recovery. The aim of all staff is to provide a high quality of care and treatment for patients who have physical, social, psychological and emotional health needs and enable them to return home with support from the Crisis Team Home Treatment and / or their Community Mental Health Team.
The role will involve providing a clinical psychology service at Forston Clinic. You will be welcomed as a key member of the unit and of the growing county-wide Acute Inpatient Psychology Service. In addition, to working directly with patients and carers, a key part of the role will involve clinical leadership and indirect working through consultation, teaching and supervision. Research interest will be actively encouraged. The multi-disciplinary team on the wards are friendly, supportive and promote a calm and therapeutic approach, enabling patients to overcome their mental crisis and move forwards with their recovery.
You will be given support to undertake CPD and receive regular clinical supervision from friendly and dedicated colleagues in the Acute Inpatient Psychology Service. We have close links to the psychology departments at Bournemouth and Southampton Universities and there will be opportunities to develop these links further.

(3) 0.6 days – Southbourne & Christchurch CMHT
(4) 0.5 days – West Dorset CMHTs
We have two posts for an experienced Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join the Adult Psychology Service (APS) working closely with MDT on providing assessment, consultation, supervision and psychological interventions to our Community Mental Health Team.  The Adult Psychology Service (APS) is an innovative department providing psychological service to the CMHTs.  We offer a psychological programme aligned with a disorder specific pathway.
The post-holder will have the responsibility to provide psychological assessment, treatments and support the MDT with consultation, case formulation, reflective practice and supervision.
