We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic leader to undertake the role of Programme Director for the Doctorate of Counselling Psychology (DCounsPsy). Our DCounsPsy is accredited with the British Psychological Society and approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), and sits alongside a growing suite of UG and PG psychology programmes.
Commensurate with a professorship post, the successful candidate will have an outstanding track record of research related to Counselling Psychology. The incumbent will be required to teach and supervise Counselling Psychology trainees, and take overall responsibility for leadership of the DCounsPsy. Candidates must hold registration with HCPC as a Counselling Psychologist. The post-holder will be provided with up to one day per week for clinical work/ consultation/ research, if applicable.
