Project Co-ordinator / Clinical Trials Manager - Oxford Cognitive Approaches to Psychosis (O-CAP)

Grade 7: salary £31,604- £38, 883

We are seeking a project co-ordinator for a major new project to bring state-of-the-art virtual reality treatment to NHS services for patients with psychosis. This substantial clinical and research endeavour includes a socially-inclusive design process for the virtual reality treatment, a multi-centre clinical trial, and development of an implementation package. You will join the Oxford Cognitive Approaches to Psychosis team in the Department of Psychiatry. The project is due to start on the 1st June 2018.

The post is for a fixed term (funded for 3 years)

You will work closely with Prof Freeman, Dr Waite, and the project team, and will have a central role in the success of the project, assuming responsibility for all aspects of the administration of the study and helping to coordinate a large team across the country.

You should have a degree in a relevant life sciences subject, excellent communication and presentation skills, together with the ability to organise and motivate others. You will demonstrate enthusiasm, innovation, and leadership when faced with challenges and will provide strategic, tactical and operational management skills in the planning and execution of the project. This is a key role in the administration of this large multisite project acting as the link between researchers, the sponsor and the many collaborative institutions. The post would suit a trial manager, project coordinator, or post-doc who is enthusiastic and dedicated to high quality research and clinical innovations.
