PSYCHOLOGICAL WELLBEING PRACTITIONER (2 POSTS) REF: SC3109
£25,298 to £31,076 per annum
The Wellbeing Service provides specialist student-centred advice and guidance and delivers therapeutic support to students with a variety of mental health difficulties. You will play a key role in assessing and supporting students with common mental health problems providing high volume low-intensity interventions which will be a range of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) based self-management interventions for mild to moderate anxiety and depression. There will be an active role in the promotion of mental wellbeing within the student and wider University community.
You will have a qualification from PWP Training Course (Post Graduate Certificate or Level 3 undergraduate course) or be an experienced and qualified mental health worker with relevant primary care experiences and competencies and be able to fulfil all essential elements of the person specification.
The appointments will be subject to a criminal record check at Enhanced level from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
