Job Title: Psychologist
Hours: Full time 37 hours per week
Salary: £35,024 - £39,818
As part of the Transforming Rehabilitation agenda, we are seeking to recruit a Psychologist to work within the central Service Excellence Team. The Reducing Reoffending Partnership deliver probation services across the Midlands covering two Community Rehabilitation Company (CRC) areas: Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire & Rutland (DLNR CRC), and Staffordshire & West Midlands (SWM CRC). This is an exciting time in our organisations as we move towards full implementation of our new Operating Model: “Our Plan to Change Lives”. The successful candidate will have a real opportunity to shape our health provision, and drive forward positive outcomes by way of reducing reoffending for our service users.
As part of a small and important team, the Psychologist will be responsible for contributing to the development of our mental health strategy, and delivering the service across both DLNR and SWM CRCs to help reduce reoffending and create safer communities. This will include ensuring adherence to the quality standards outlined in our clinical governance framework. The Psychologist team will also be actively involved in design and evaluation of our interventions to drive continuous improvement of our services.
You will have a keen interest in probation, a background in working with complex cases, and a passion for enabling behaviour change. We welcome applications from newly qualified Psychologists, particularly from the clinical and forensic fields, and professionals who are registered as a practitioner psychologists with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) or similar body.
