Psychologist - Camden Substance Misuse Service
Full time, 37.5hrs per week (will consider part-time applicants)
SHP (Single Homeless Project) is one of London’s leading homelessness prevention charities and a dynamic and growing organisation changing 8,000 lives every year across London - from supporting people in crisis, to helping them take the final steps towards independence and employment.
We are currently looking for an innovative and resilient Psychologist to work within our Camden's Adult Pathway Services. As the post-holder, you will be based within our Camden's substance use services, working with clients who may be pre-contemplative about their substance use.
Your role will involve you providing one to one sessions with clients, group work and support to the highly committed staff teams. You will also provide your expertise in broader support (including reflective practice, case formulations and training) to services across the Adult Pathway, in the development of PIE (Psychologically Informed Environments).
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of working as a qualified Psychologist, including post-qualification experience within the specialty, coupled with an understanding of PIE. You will also have experience of working with homeless, socially excluded and/or hard to engage client groups who have experienced multiple exclusions.
