Clinical Partners is the UK’s largest independently owned clinician partnership, specialising in arranging private outpatient mental healthcare for adults and children. Our Partners work from 22 clinics across the UK, providing a wide range of services including psychiatry, psychology and psychotherapy, amongst others.
We now have an opportunity for a bright and hardworking Psychology graduate to join our triage team as an Assistant Psychologist. Typically members of our triage team have at least a BSc in Psychology, often also with a related MSc. You will need to have demonstrable first-hand experience working or volunteering in a mental health setting. The role involves initial triage and intake screening of clients. You will be required to understand and advise on all aspects of a client’s mental healthcare, and to co-ordinate and facilitate ongoing support. This includes understanding the role of other services that may be involved in care plans. We are looking for someone able to communicate effectively and sensitively with clients, families, and professionals within both the private and public sector.
This is a great role for graduates seeking to expand their knowledge of mental healthcare provision, often whilst applying to doctoral programmes for the next stage of their professional development. Training, support and supervision are provided. The successful applicant will be comfortable working with a high level of autonomy, and have a confident and engaging telephone manner, excellent organisational skills and a broad understanding of our very wide range of mental health services.
This will be a permanent, full time contract, based in our friendly office near Shaftesbury in Dorset and ideally requires that you are based within a one hour travel time.
Clinical Partners will not consider applications submitted by or through agencies.
All positions within Clinical Partners are subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check.
