Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is a community-focused organisation that provides physical and mental health and social care with the aim of improving the health and wellbeing of all our patients and their families.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic qualified Band 6 General or Psychiatric Nurse RGN OR RMN), Social Worker, Occupational Therapist or Psychologist.

Healthy Minds (Improving access to Psychological Therapies) receive about 850 referrals per month for steps 2 and 3 of the Pathway and about 100 referrals a month for step 4 Psychological Services in Secondary Care. The successful candidate should have some knowledge of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based psychological interventions and should have significant clinical experience of working in general and/or mental health settings. The Psychological Therapies Pathways (PTP) in Buckinghamshire delivers a range of evidence based talking treatments, through a stepped care treatment model to people with common mental health problems.

Oxford Health reconfigured psychological therapy services in Buckinghamshire to bring together specialist psychological services and Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) services into an integrated pathway with a Single Point of Access (SPA).
We are also currently integrating with Adult Services in Bucks.
The Buckinghamshire Psychological Therapies Pathway is clinically led by a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and operationally managed by a Team Manager.

The successful candidate will assist with the coordinating and successful day-to-day management of all referrals in the Buckinghamshire Psychological Therapies Referral Pathway for Adults and Older Adults with or without co-morbid long-term conditions. The role will support the SPA Team Leader ensure the provision of a responsive, high quality service to patients with common mental health problems. The role will require close liaison with a number of key stakeholder groups, direct management of the referral process, meeting stringent data collection requirements and support of staff within the referrals process.
