Help for Heroes, leading Charity for the Armed Forces Community, is seeking to appoint two Regional Psychological Wellbeing Managers to lead the service in the North (Catterick) and South West (Tedworth). This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated Psychologist to make a real impact through a specialist service.

This is a unique opportunity to join a team of like-minded psychological professionals striving to achieve the best gold standard of psychological wellbeing support for WIS veterans and their immediate family members. We are a supportive team that embraces diversity and are all passionate about our charity’s overall aim to improve the quality of life for our wounded, injured and sick servicemen.

We believe that those who put their lives on the line for us, deserve a second chance at life.  We provide recovery focused support for the Armed Forces Community and their families through our Recovery Centres and community delivery.

These roles are permanent and offers a real opportunity for the right candidate to develop, inspire and lead geographically dispersed teams to deliver first class Psychological Wellbeing services.

We are looking for an experienced clinician with excellent management skills to lead a regional team of BACP Counsellors and Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners working across the region.  You will need to demonstrate that you can build a strong, supportive culture of ‘one team’ within your team of mixed clinicians and co-ordinators and provide guidance in appropriate allocation of clinical cases to the regional Teams.

The role reports through to the Head of Psychological Wellbeing and is responsible for providing over-arching support to the designated Help for Heroes Psychological Wellbeing teams, to ensure quality and consistency of clinical service standards and best practice across the centres, ensuring effective, professionally delivered psychological services to our beneficiaries.

We would expect the successful candidate to be a qualified Psychologist with at least 3 years post qualification experience in a clinical setting.  Please refer to the Job Description for more details about the role.
