Research Fellow in Collaborative Research Development

£32,004 - £38,183 pro rata per annum

Grade: UH7

Part-time 0.4 or 0.5 FTE

This is a fixed term post for 24 months

The University of Hertfordshire jointly with Hertfordshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust are seeking to recruit a Research Fellow with responsibility for identifying collaborative research opportunities in areas which have both a clinical and mental health focus. The successful candidate will take forwards these collaborative projects, by coordinating, writing and submitting joint grant applications to NIHR and other relevant funding streams.

It is expected that the successful applicant will have a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or PhD in a clinically relevant area of Psychology and experience with both quantitative and qualitative research methods. Excellent communication skills and the ability to facilitate and coordinate links between clinicians and researchers as well as strong skills in professional and research writing are essential.

The candidate will be joining an active and successful research community, and it is expected that the candidate will have an opportunity to gain funding to support the development of a research profile.
