Actual salary £27,276 to £28,792 per annum
We have a new role for an experienced Counsellor to join our Pastoral team to provide a professional and confidential counselling service to students. The counselling service will provide services promoting student well-being, emotional health and building pupils resilience to help them cope with any difficulties that they may face
The successful post holder will provide support and assistance to school teams to better understand and manage student mental health issues, with a view to improving student outcomes. Whilst creating a caring and supportive environment and working closing with the Nursing and Pastoral you will provide specialist and targeted support to students affected with mental health and other issues as well as those having significant emotional and behavioural issues as well as training for staff in supporting such students
To carry out the role you must be fully qualified and registration with BACP is essential.
