Our opportunity -
As a Senior Assessment Consultant, you’ll work with clients to understand their recruitment challenges and develop solutions. You will be responsible for projects that deliver both superior client satisfaction and profit growth for the business. You will have full responsibility for developing sifting tools such as SJTs and video interviews. You’ll also design full day assessment centres utilising case study/analysis exercises, role play, group exercises and interviews. While your focus will be on assessment solutions, you’ll work across the business to ensure your recommendations can be delivered in the most efficient manner, using the best technology platforms available. To be effective you will need to commit to spending a proportion of your time in our Newbury based offices, although we will be flexible dependant on individual situations.
What we are looking for? -
We are looking for pioneers who are passionate collaborators with strong commerciality, flexibility and resilience. You’ll have a background in occupational or business psychology or assessment for selection and be registered as an Occupational Test User: Ability and Personality. You must also be an effective project manager who is able to work autonomously and is comfortable making decisions.
You must be confident undertaking job analysis exercises and building behavioural assessment frameworks for clients. You will be experienced in the reviewing of client needs – whether efficiency, innovation, robustness or a combination of – and recommending a fit for purpose end-to-end selection process.
- Developing competency models/assessment frameworks from first principles
- Designing interviews and assessment centres
- Good knowledge of psychometric products
- Project managing assessment design activities
- Great influencing and relationship-building skills
- Carrying out new business activity including first contact meetings, proposal and tender writing and pitch attendance
- SJT development
- A working knowledge of SPSS or similar
- A working knowledge of the Early Talent recruitment market
- Presenting at industry events/conferences
