Our Newbury based assessment team provide selection consultancy services for a diverse range of clients, from Unilever, PwC and GSK to Mars, Avon and Deloitte. We are known for being pioneers in gamification, innovative assessment tool design, and immersive assessment. Our consultants also conduct leading-edge Insights research.
About the opportunity:
As a Senior Consultant, you’ll work with clients to understand their recruitment challenges and develop solutions. You will be responsible for projects that deliver both superior client satisfaction and profit growth for the business. You will have full responsibility for developing sifting tools such as SJTs and video interviews. You’ll also design full day assessment centres utilising case study/analysis exercises, role play, group exercises and interviews. While your focus will be on assessment solutions, you’ll work across the business to ensure your recommendations can be delivered in the most efficient manner, using the best technology platforms available. To be effective you will need to commit to spending a proportion of your time in our Newbury based offices, although we will be flexible dependant on individual situations.
As a Junior Consultant, you’ll be working as part of our close-knit team of Occupational Psychologists and Consultants based in Newbury and you will be involved with a range of client projects from planning to delivery. You will also work closely with other areas of the business and gain insight into the end-to-end selection process and how we deliver high-quality volume recruitment that is both efficient and effective for our clients. You will have to love technology, as we are renowned for delivering innovative and cutting-edge assessment solutions that utilise the latest in psychometric tools.
We are looking for pioneers who are passionate collaborators with strong commerciality, flexibility and resilience. As a Senior you’ll have a background in occupational or business psychology or assessment for selection and be experienced in the reviewing of client needs – whether efficiency, innovation, robustness or a combination of and recommending a fit for purpose end-to-end selection process. As a Junior you may already be working in a recruitment or HR role after successful completion of your MSc in Occupational Psychology; ideally with some experience of assessment centres and SPSS. Both roles require:
- Occupational Test User registration: Ability and Personality
- Effective project managers, able to work autonomously
- Experience of undertaking job analysis exercises, developing competency models, interviews, delivering assessment centres and building behavioural assessment frameworks
- Good knowledge of psychometric productsA working knowledge of SPSS or similar
