Are you a Senior Clinical Forensic / Clinical Psychologist with a passion for working creatively? We have an opportunity to join the Compass Service in a new and exciting role based with the Compass Outreach Service (COS). The high ambition of the Compass Service is to provide the highest standard of provision to the young people and families they work with to achieve second order change. The COS provides a range of therapeutic services for vulnerable children, young people and families. The multi-disciplinary team (MDT) includes Clinical Team Leader, Psychology, Art Therapy, Family Systemic Therapy, Social Workers and Family Development Workers.
Due to an expansion of service provision, we are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Clinical Forensic or Clinical Psychologist with experience of working with children and young people with significant sexual trauma and young people within the Looked After Care system.This new specialist role is for children and young people who have displayed sexually harmful behaviour and / or at risk of Child Sexual Exploitation and linked with Norfolk SafeguardingChildren’s Board Child Sexual Abuse Strategy.
Based in Norfolk and Waveney this new provision will provide therapeutic services to children and young people’ in a Partnership with Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust, Norfolk Youth Offending Team (NYOT) and Suffolk Youth Offending Service. The post holder will work in collaboration with the SHB Coordinator based with NYOT. Both roles will be co-located within NYOT and Compass Service.All candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and reference checks. The post is community based in a rural location so applicants need to be able to travel within Norfolk and Suffolk.
