Job Ref: 267-OM2467005-D

Salary: Band 8 £45,753 - £51,668 per annum / pro rata

Hours: Full time: 37.5 hours per week (Part Time Options Available)

Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust has been rated as Good by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). We’re a responsive and innovative Foundation Trust that places our values of Caring, Safe and Excellent at the heart of everything we do. We take great pride in our staff and believe that investing in you is key to us achieving our vision of outstanding care delivered by outstanding people.

Working as part of a supportive and friendly team, you’ll make a real difference to patients with long term mental health problems within our inpatient wards and community settings.

You’ll have significant knowledge in your specialist therapy area of working with adults with severe and/or complex mental health difficulties and a good working knowledge of evidence-based treatments. You’ll also have experience of safeguarding children and vulnerable adults, experience of supervision with therapists and other clinical staff and leadership and management of therapy staff.

You’ll have Doctoral level training in Clinical or Counselling Psychology, or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996, and skills in providing consultation to other professional and non-professional groups. Experience of applying clinical psychology in different cultural contexts would be an advantage.

We provide excellent accredited supervision by senior therapists to help consolidate your therapy skills in a focused and supported way, monthly opportunities to meet psychological therapy colleagues from across the county for reflective practice groups; clinical updates and professional development, and excellent CPD opportunities.

If you’re an enthusiastic HCPC registered Clinical/Counselling Psychologist wanting to develop your clinical, supervisory and leadership skills, we’d love to hear from you.
