Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust are seeking to appoint an experienced Clinical Psychologist.
Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust is an OUTSTANDING CQC provider, Community CAMHS provides specialist mental health services for children accross the county, and provides a range of therapeutic interventions in a clearly defined pathway model for children, young people and families who present with complex mental health conditions that require a more specialist approach.
We are now looking for a committed, experienced Paediatric Clinical Psychologists that are able provide psychological assessment and therapy and supervise other paediatric psychologists and other clinical members of the team who provide psychologically based care and treatment. The post holders will also be expected to provide consultation and training for colleagues and staff from partner agencies, and will assist the team with case formulation and treatment planning.
As well as having the relevant clinical qualifications, the post holder will have a positive team ethos, excellent communication skills, and the resilience required in order to meet the challenges of working within these services.
The successful candidate will benefit from being part of a supportive group of Psychologists working across a wide range of specialities. Professional development is very much valued and the post holder will have access to regular supervision from a Consultant Clinical Psychologist. We have strong links with the regional Doctoral Courses in Clinical Psychology for which we offer clinical placements.
The post-holder will be based at St. Mary’s Hospital in Kettering or at Northampton General Hospital, there will be a requirement to work at both acute hospitals and you will be required to travel to various other destinations across the county.
