Senior Occupational Psychologist
JQA are Business Psychologists who work in the Private and Public Sector and consult to leading global organisations on Organisational Development and People Assessment and Development. Much of our work involves the Assessment of Managers, Professionals and C-Suite Executives on a global basis. The company was launched in 2003 and has experienced rapid growth, now working with 16 Associates. We need additional full-time professional psychologists with the appropriate industry experience to increase our flexibility in meeting the demand for our services.
Reporting to the MD, this role offers many learning opportunities to work with seasoned practitioners who have earned the confidence of investors and top corporate executives. Your focus will be on delivering services in Executive Assessment, Talent Management and Coaching as part of the JQA team. Our ability to identify and accurately assess the “success factors” means that we have retained and increased business from clients over decades and they recognise the importance of our contribution to their ambitions. JQA uses digital solutions to receive and deliver commissions for work from clients and delivers these in a bespoke manner. Expert judgement plays a key role as we take a holistic approach to assessment which requires a multi-dimensional assessment of individuals and a rich insight into their potential for career advancement and high performance.
You will be qualified as an Occupational Psychologist registered with the British Psychological Society (BPS) or a Business Psychologist registered with the BPS with an accredited Master’s degree qualification in Occupational Psychology. You’ll also have knowledge of psychometrics and competence in statistical analysis. A working knowledge of Stratified Systems Theory will be an advantage.
At least ten years’ experience, preferably with global multi-nationals across sectors such as Energy, Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing, Minerals, Mining, and Professional Services. Where will I be based?
This Role is home based but you may be required to travel within the UK or globally, most likely to the Company base in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
