As a Psychologist or Social Researcher at Dstl, you’ll be vital to this challenge.

Working with partners in industry and academia as part of £multi-million projects, you’ll deliver studies that help solve workforce challenges. A technical expert, you’ll be responsible for assuring research; making sure it’s of high quality and offers maximum value. You’ll also be involved in innovative internal research as needed, and possibly international research collaborations. It’s a fantastic opportunity to tackle the whole cycle of research and consultancy, from scoping and design, through to delivery and exploitation.

At this level, you’ll need a relevant degree (or equivalent) and extensive experience of designing and delivering research. With this background, you’ll know about qualitative and quantitative research methods, and assuring the work of others. You’ll also be used to working collaboratively and leading the scoping, planning and progress of research. Capable and articulate, you’ll be driven, inquisitive and keen to build on your knowledge within occupational / organisational psychology and social research.
