The Nightingale Hospital is Central London’s leading independent mental health hospital offering 73 inpatient beds. Situated in Marylebone, we are a multidisciplinary team of 300 staff and over 50 Consultants working together to provide tailored treatment programmes for individuals with mental health or emotional problems, eating disorders and addictions. Our Therapy Services team consists of over 100 individuals from all different backgrounds working in collaboration with our nursing colleagues to provide exceptional holistic care to patients who attend either as an inpatient, outpatient or for day therapy treatment. The majority of our work is located in Marylebone and we are also able to provide outpatient therapy sessions in the City. We employ Therapy staff whose roles vary widely from Clinical and Counselling Psychologists, Dieticians, Counsellors and Psychotherapists to Art Therapy practitioners and Yoga & Tai Chi Instructors.

We are looking for a number of CBT Therapists to join our team. The post holders will work primarily with inpatients facilitating groups and seeing patients for individual 1:1 sessions. They will be required to carry out assessments for the therapy programme and be involved in providing a high standard of care. Successful candidates will ideally be full time however we would be open to part time working. We would encourage applications from individuals who possess a higher postgraduate degree relevant to the position and registration with a relevant professional body. We would also be keen to hear from Counselling Psychologists with extensive CBT training and experience. Prior experience within a private healthcare environment would be beneficial however it is not a requirement.
Lead CBT Therapist
We are also seeking to appoint a Lead CBT Therapist who as well as taking on their own clinical responsibilities will be responsible for the overall CBT service at the Nightingale Hospital. As well as the skills mentioned above, candidates interested in the Lead CBT Therapist post should also be able to demonstrate experience supervising a team and skills around conflict management and people management would also be beneficial.
