Hours: 15-22.5 over 2- 3 days (hours and days to be discussed at interview)

The Priory Hospital Preston has established an excellent reputation for offering calming and recovery focused residential treatment for up to 38 service users. 

Psychological services at the Priory Hospital Preston provide specialist psychological interventions to meet the needs of complex and often challenging patients with a range of mental health presentations.

Working as an essential part of the Multi-disciplinary team within our Eating Disorder unit, this role will involve the development, delivery and evaluation of psychological treatment using a person centred approach to assist our patients in achieving their positive life goals and optimum level of functioning.

The role will require enhanced organisational skills and the ability to work independently and pro actively.  You will independently facilitate 1:1 sessions for all patients on a weekly basis.  Consequently experience of Eating Disorders is essential.  Experience of group facilitation is also required.

The role is varied, involving direct and indirect clinical work, MDT decision making, staff training and supervision.  To function to the required level within this role excellent communiction skills are required with the clinical team, patients and wider community agencies. The successful candidate will be involved in the evaluation and development of key aspects of the service.

Successful candidates will hold accreditation with HCPC.
