This is a community-based post, located within Newham CFCS offering flexible, evidence-based episodes of care, assessments and treatments to a wide variety of clinical presentations.

Clinical Psychologist NDT and E&B

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and motivated Clinical Psychologist with a passion for working with young people within Neurodevelopmental diagnoses as well as working in the Emotional and behavioural Team.

You will be part of two busy and dynamic pathways one which provides a specialist CAMHS service for young people with a wide variety of conditions which co present with Moderate LD, ASD and or ADHD, and the other is the Emotional and behavioural pathway which provides assessment and intervention for young people with a wide variety of mental health presentations

MHST Trailblazer - Clinical lead

Band 8a (Closes 18/01/21)

The NHS is now working with schools and colleges in 25 new areas across England to provide expert mental health support for up to half a million pupils a year part of the Governments ambitious plans to transform children and young peoples mental health through the NHS Long-Term Plan.

New Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs) will support children and young people, who will be based in and near schools and colleges, with support starting in 2019. The first cohort of new staff (Education Mental Health Practitioners EMHPs) are on track to begin their training at seven universities nationwide in January 2019 this role will supervise a range of band 7 and band 4 staff.
