Family Futures Community Interest Company is a therapeutic assessment and treatment service, an adoption support agency and a fostering agency. It is regarded as a national centre of excellence in its field.  Family Futures has developed and evaluated a holistic treatment model for developmentally traumatised children and their families, Neuro-physiological Psychotherapy (NPP), which takes a body-based and neuro-sequential approach to intervention. The assessment and treatment service work with adoptive, foster, special-guardian and at-risk families. In 2018 Family Futures was awarded an Outstanding rating by OFSTED for the third consecutive inspection.

We are looking to recruit a Specialist Clinical Psychologist to join our therapy team. The successful candidate will work alongside Occupational Therapists, Social Workers and therapists from varied professional backgrounds as well as other Psychology colleagues. Key aspects of the role include assessment, intervention, consultation, training and research. This role entails an element of supervision of Psychology and non-Psychology colleagues. The successful candidate will have some experience of working with children and families within the field of developmental trauma.

Salary: £41 – 46 k per annum.

This is a full-time permanent position – 37.5 hours per week.
