A huge transformation programme in Essex is opening up a number of exciting opportunities for psychological services professionals who have an interest in the treatment and management of personality disorders and complex needs. The newly developed integrated care pathway will support the aspirations identified in the five year forward view and the NHS long term plan.
These opportunities will challenge traditional models of mental health provision to prevent escalation of mental health crises and develop true community-based, integrated and systematics services.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Systemic or Family Psychotherapist who wishes to help shape our services in this newly merged mental health Trust providing a range of services across Essex
This post will ensure the provision of high quality specialist Systemic Family and Couples Therapy to clients in the Personality Disorders & Complex Needs Specialist MDT service and to other clients in secondary Mental Health services. The role involves delivering interventions for clients who present risks to themselves and/or others and who have histories of trauma and abuse. The role involves working alongside and consulting to teams in inpatient, specialist care, urgent care and community settings, and offering psychological treatment to individuals as well as complex risk and other assessments. This will involve working closely with team managers to consider the most effective ways of communicating psychological practices and ideas to the team.
You will be part of making this change, while developing your own skills and forging a progressive career pathway. We will support and invest in any further clinical training, and leadership development.
We have an established and cohesive Senior Management Team of Consultant grade Psychologists and Psychotherapists providing OPMH, Adult Community, Forensic & Secure, EIP, Crisis & Home Treatment, Personality Disorders, IAPT, Aspergers, LD, Adolescent in-patient, Psychotherapy, Perinatal and Clinical Health Psychology Services, and are a growing, vibrant service which has seen recent investment
