Student Support Service
STAFF CBT PRACTITIONER AND COUNSELLOR (0.5 FTE) REF: ALC690
£25,298 to £31,076 per annum pro rata
You will contribute to the clinical provision of a busy, multidisciplinary Wellbeing Service, delivering effective, professional Counselling for UEA staff. Main duties will include delivering high quality brief interventions for staff experiencing a range of psychological and emotional difficulties; delivering one to one cognitive behavioural (CBT) interventions; and assisting in the development and delivery of psycho-educative workshops and therapeutic groups aimed at supporting staff in managing distress and fostering personal growth.
Holding a degree or having equivalent level of qualification or experience, you will be qualified to a minimum of Diploma level in Counselling/Psychotherapy/CBT. You must have experience of developing and delivering groups and training activities together with experience of supervising others.
The appointment will be subject to a criminal record check at Enhanced level from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
