STUDENT CBT PRACTITIONER (1.0 FTE) REF: ALC938

£33,199 to £39,609 per annum

You will contribute to the clinical provision of a busy, multidisciplinary Wellbeing Service, delivering effective, wellbeing and therapeutic interventions for UEA students.

Main duties will include delivering high quality brief interventions for students experiencing a range of psychological and emotional difficulties; delivering one to one cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) interventions; and assisting in the development and delivery of psycho-educative workshops and therapeutic groups aimed at supporting students in managing distress and fostering personal growth.

Holding a degree or having equivalent level of qualification or experience, you will be qualified to a minimum of Diploma level in CBT. You must have experience of developing and delivering groups and training activities together with a working knowledge of the specific concerns facing higher education institutions and their students.

The post is available immediately on a full-time, indefinite basis, however we are happy to accept applications for part-time and job share options also.

The appointment will be subject to a criminal record check at Enhanced level from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
