Student Support Service
STUDENT CBT PRACTITIONER AND PLACEMENT CO-ORDINATOR
REF: ALC714
£32,548 to £38,833 per annum
You will contribute to the clinical provision of a busy, multidisciplinary Wellbeing Service, delivering effective, professional CBT/Counselling support to UEA students. Providing high quality therapeutic and supportive interventions for students experiencing a range of psychological and emotional difficulties, you will enable students to engage successfully with their studies and broader student experience. In addition to delivering individual and group interventions, you will also organise, co-ordinate and supervise volunteer and trainee counsellors on placement in the service.
Holding a degree or having equivalent level of qualification or experience, you will be qualified to a minimum of Diploma level in Counselling/Psychotherapy which includes CBT. You must have experience of developing and delivering groups and training activities together with experience of supervising others.
Appointment will be subject to a criminal record check at Enhanced level from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
