Bristol Brunel Academy is an oversubscribed, forward-thinking Academy based in Speedwell, Bristol, rated “Good” by Ofsted in 2013. Our students are excited to learn and are real ambassadors for our diverse community, who benefit from a hugely positive and supportive learning environment.
We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Student Counsellor to work with students aged 11 to 16. Your duties will include:
- providing counselling services and support to students;
- safeguarding the wellbeing and emotional needs of all students on a one-to-one and small group basis;
- working with the Designated Safeguarding Lead, Year Teams, Senior Leadership Team, Personalised Learning Centre and SEN to secure the educational, social, emotional and developmental needs for identified children;
- providing a signposting service to Academy staff requiring support or supervision.
