To provide logistical management and oversight of specialist clinical supervision within Recolo. This post will work closely with the Clinical Lead.
The Supervision Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating the placing of associates to supervisor and ensuring that supervisor capacity is maintained and monitored. Leading and minuting monthly supervision meetings is part of this role, along with managing the logistics of supervision provision to all associates. The role holder will need to ensure supervision capacity keeps at pace with associate numbers, particularly as new associates are inducted.
The role holder will provide active clinical supervision to their own allocated associates, as an active member of the clinical supervisory group.
The role holder will be responsible for delivering the inductions for new associates at 10 Harley Street in conjunction with the COO/Business team, ensuring that content is relevant to new starters and promotes the key working methods and practices for the organisation.
This role will provide opportunities for the on-going development of supervision and induction content, processes and procedures.
The Supervision Manager is to actively support the development of regional supervision networks in conjunction with the Clinical Supervisor in the area.
To be a reference point for other clinicians and to liaise with the Clinical Lead and other senior clinical supervisory team members as necessary, for any clinical issues that require collaborative supervision input.
Recolo UK Ltd is a private service that provides community-based neurorehabilitation for children, young people and young adults (under 30 years) and their families. Recolo provides a national service to children, young people and young adults with acquired brain injury, in addition to specialist Educational Psychology, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Trauma services.
Recolo provides specialist supervision to clinical and educational psychologists with a specialist interest in neuropsychology. This is provided in various formats including 1:1, group forums, participation in training, internally and externally, etc, (this list is not exhaustive). Supervision is valued very highly within the organisation and is an integral part of our way of working. It is a substantial element of the infrastructure and is deemed an essential overhead. This service is provided to clinicians who are working on a sub-contracted basis with Recolo UK Ltd as well as employed clinicians. Supervision applies only to Recolo cases.
