Job Description

OPP is one of Europe’s leading business psychology consultancies and psychometric test and applications training providers. As part of the CPP Group, the organisation has global reach.  Our market-leading personality tools include the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and FIRO-B assessments and many more, and enable clients to deliver impactful personal development. With plans to innovate and develop our product portfolio, this is an exciting time to be joining our organisation.

The purpose of this role is to assist in the ongoing delivery and development of OPP’s training programmes. In particular, the role provides the observation of training delegates as they develop their feedback skills and the delivery of developmental feedback in a coaching environment both face-to-face and remotely. It also provides the marking of delegates’ fieldwork against mark-schemes, again delivering developmental feedback to improve future performance. In addition, the role will join the Consultancy Helpdesk Team, providing advice to and answering the questions of customers who call in.

The opportunity to qualify in a range of OPP’s instruments is provided as part of the development in the role.

The role has become available due to a vacancy as well as internal development within OPP.  The role has the potential to develop into a consultant level over time, so we’re seeking someone who has the potential to develop to run psychometric training courses.  In addition there may be future opportunities to work in other professional OPP teams, such as Thought Leadership and Consultancy.

To be successful you will have:

  • MSc Occupational Psychology
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong commercial focus
  • Capable level in IT skills (MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Experience of working with psychometric tools, to include administering and feeding back; qualified to BPS Test User: Occupational, Ability and Personality (formerly Level A and B) status

You will be based in Oxford, where a number of our training courses take place and where OPP is based, but you will need to have flexibility to travel and stay away from home within the UK.  You will need to have a drivers license and your own vehicle as some work related travel will be by car.
