We also provide support for research, consultancy and knowledge exchange activities. Student and Academic Services are seeking to appoint a Technical Officer in the Department of Health Professions (Psychology), currently based in the Faculty of Health, Psychology and Social Care at the Brooks Building, All Saints Campus.
You will provide innovative technical advice, training and instruction to service users and be skilled in the use of a variety of "sector standard" software packages and equipment used to measure physiological and psychological parameters. You have the ability to design stimuli, set up experiments, create data-sets and transform data whilst undertaking duties in support of teaching activities, within the practical areas of the Department. Assistance with research and commercial activities may also be required.
