Our trainers offer training and development expertise in Business Psychology to our clients. The Myers-Briggs Company trains it’s customers in a wide range of well-known personality instruments (including MBTI and FIRO), and delivers training in the real world application of the instruments and related skills to meet the different business challenges faced by our customers in their workplaces.
The purpose of this role is to directly support the ongoing delivery and development of our certification training programmes. In particular, the role is expected to competently and effectively run our training portfolio, as well as support the review and design of new courses, products and services, as required.
The role holder will also provide skilled observations and feedback on courses where required, and provide support to our clients in responding to appropriate technical queries from practitioners once trained. With experience, the role has the potential to develop further and allow the role holder to become a role model in the team and would then manage course related projects and act as the Subject Matter Expert on internal product development projects and commence working across the consultancy service line, working with non-practitioners and more diverse bespoke assignments.
The trainers sit within our Professional Service function which is home to the client facing delivery teams for the business. This presents an opportunity and expectation that individuals will develop and grow their skill sets across the range of Occupational Psychology skills to gain Chartered Occupational Psychology accreditation. Training and support will be provided to help you to achieve your Chartership in your first three years in role. These are full time roles and based out of our Oxford office. These roles offer the opportunity for extensive travel around the UK and beyond.
The opportunity to qualify in a range of The Myers-Briggs Company’s instruments is provided as part of the development in the role.
To be successful you will have:
- Expertise in at least two of the following:
- Leadership and Management Development
- Talent Management
- Team development
- Selection and Assessment.
- MSc Occupational Psychology – Chartered or actively working towards
- Wide ranging and in-depth business development experience
- Track record of credibility in delivering a wide range of business psychology consulting solutions and applying psychometric tools and techniques (qualified to BPS Test User: Occupational, Ability and Personality (formerly Level A and B) status
- Hands on experience of managing multiple complex client projects supervising other consultants
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong commercial focus
- Capable level in IT skills (MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
You will be based from home with the requirement to attend our offices in Oxford. You will need to have flexibility to travel and stay away from home with some international travel from time to time. You will need to have a drivers license and your own vehicle as some work related travel will be by car.
