Main Purpose of Job:

Primarily responsible for the management and development of UK research and development projects, processes and people.

General Duties:

  • Responsible for managing the UK R&D team including people management, annual goal-setting and reviews, successionplanning, resource planning and recruitment
  • Responsible for developing and implementing local R&D processes in the areas of content development (digital and paper), adaptation and localisation of materials for UK, research and scopeplans, psychometric analysis and project management
  • Directs execution of local publication plan through management of resource planning, risks and issues, budgets andtimelines
  • Manages the R&D portion of the localBusiness Case process and oversees development of scope and research plans for all local projects
  • Responsible for executing local R&D projects through the adaptation, content development, standardisation and publishing phases of projects
  • Provides supervision to team on project issues of other projects within the R&D portfolio
  • Responsible for developing and managingannual cost centre plan for the UK R&D team



  • Clinical/Educational/Occupational Psychologist or PhD in Psychology (in clinical or educational field)
  • Experience in the administration and scoring of psychometric tests in real-world settings
  • Experience of running research projects
  • Experience of using statistical programs like SAS, SPSS
  • Experience of managing and recruiting people
  • London-based


  • Experienc eof clinical and educational services
  • Experience of digital development preferable
  • post-qualification desirable
